According to a a recent article on Business Insider it appears that Vermont-based brewery The Alchemist could be expanding with a second location. Wife and husband partners Jen and John Kimmich have been reported to be out and about looking to either expand their current and newly launched retail location or expand with a second brewery at a new location.
No current timetable is set for this but the brewery has been experiencing growth pains for a few years now, mostly due to the enormous success of their world famous Heady Topper, a double IPA which continues to gain the admiration of many, far and wide.
Heady Topper aside, the brewery has also been brewing a few other beers including Celia, a sorghum-based, gluten free beer and a very elusive Petit Mutant, an American-style wild ale brewed with some very expensive Montmorency cherries and several quarts of concentrated Montmorency juice from Wisconsin.
Could more readily available Heady Topper be something of the future? We sure as hell hope so! Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to follow this (and hope that it actually happens).
