Are You Ready For International Stout Day?

Just a couple of days away now, International Stout Day will be taking place all over the world. It’s a very special day for craft beer lovers and one that I very much look forward to, not that I need another excuse to drink more stouts… From sweet stouts to oatmeal ones, and Imperial ones, the selection is pretty diverse and exciting. This year a few breweries have even stepped up their games by introducing some ingredients like cocoa nibs and coconut to their brews.

But what better way to celebrate than with a local stout? Here’s a few, ‘local’ ones that you might want to pickup for Friday:

Brewery Beer
Berkshire Brewing Company Berkshire Russian Imperial Stout
Boston Beer Company Samuel Adams Cream Stout
Brash Smoglifter
Cape Ann Brewing Company Fisherman’s Pumpkin Stout
Cambridge Brewing Company Stout At the Devil!
Clown Shoes Blaecorn Unidragon Russian Imperial Stout
Clown Shoes Chocolate Sombrero
Clown Shoes Vampire Slayer
Harpoon Brewery Boston Irish Stout
Harpoon Brewery Imperial Pumpkin Stout
Ipswich Ale Brewery Oatmeal Stout
Nashoba Valley Winery Imperial Stout
Night Shift Brewing Taza Chocolate Stout
Paper City Brewery Riley’s Stout
Tree House Brewing That’s What She Said
Wachusett Brewing Company Milk Stout
Wormtown Brewing “Norm” Chocolate Coconut Stout

Last but not least, don’t forget to check the said stouts on Untappd to unlock a special badge on Friday. And if you don’t have enough time to find something local, you can always get a trusty Guinness, we’re in Boston after all.

What local beer will you be drinking to celebrate International Stout Day?
