Looks like the folks over at Night Shift Brewing out in Everett have been quite busy as of late. Between getting their new, bigger location ready for an impending move (scheduled for next year), they have somehow managed to release a couple of new beers this week: Chinooknation and Holy Mole!.
Chinooknation is part of their Nation of Hops series and is a 100% Chinook-hopped Belgian-style double IPA. It was released a couple of days ago, on Tuesday, and should be available on tap for samples and growler or bottle fills.
Holy Mole! is a collaboration release. They partnered up with Liquor World in Porter Square Cambridge to bring us a bourbon barrel-aged ale. It’s a blend of their Viva Habanera and their Taza Stout. Aged for 8 months, this should make for a complex beer with a lot of cocoa and spice notes, perfect for the upcoming, chilly temperatures. Bottles go on sale later tonight and will also be available at Liquor World starting tomorrow as well.
Last but not least, they’ve also announced that their new batch of Fallen Apple will be releasing next week, on November 13th from 5-10PM. This golden ale is brewed with some spices and then fermented with some apple cider before being aged in rum and brandy barrels. For this year’s release, they’re even throwing a party for it as well, and more information about the event, including tickets ($10 a piece) can be found right over here.
