Trillium Brewing Announces Barrel Aged Wakerobin Release
Fort Point-based Trillium Brewing has announced a release time and date for their barrel-aged Wakerobin beer. This is their second bottled released following a series of barrel-aged Pot & Kettle stout. Wakerobin is their red rye farmhouse ale and it has been aged in barrels previously used by Boston’s very own GrandTen Distilling who used them to make their Amandine almond liqueur.
So mark your calendars folks for Tuesday February 18th. The release will start at 4PM and if it’s anything like the first one, the lines will be a bit long so plan ahead. There will be a two bottle limit per person and each bottle is 375ml. And just in case you can’t get it or they run out, you can always try their other ones like their flagship Fort Point Pale Ale, their Pot & Kettle stout and a few others, which are also available for growler fills.
