Two New Beer Releases at Night Shift Brewing, New Brewing Series Announced

Night Shift BrewingEverett’s very own Night Shift Brewing has announced the release of a couple of new beers, one of which is returning in action after a very successful release last year.

The first is Citranation, part of the ‘Nation of Hops’ series is now back and available on tap for drafts and for growler fills. Unlike last time, this one isn’t being bottled again and it is available right now while it lasts. Citranation is a 100% Citra-hopped Belgian double IPA which features lots of tropical flavors of pineapple and grapefruit.

Secondly, they’ve also announced a brand new beer which is to be released tomorrow afternoon, at 5PM, at the brewery and is known as Funk’d Citra, a “100% brett-fermented ale dry-hopped with Citra. It’s the first up in our Funk’d Series – the exploration of fermentation with 100% brettanomyces”.

That’s right folks, you read the previous sentence correctly, they’ve announced a new brewing series called “Funk’d” and this is going to be the first of their numerous releases which is quite exciting as funky beer experimentation is in full swing everywhere.

Last but not least, for those who placed any Sour Futures orders on Night Shift Brewing’s website last year have until March 31st to pickup any of their pre-ordered beers from the brewery. That’s their final deadline and any remaining beers will be released to the public after that. And there’s still time to place any orders for this years’s program by clicking right over here.
