Two Roads Brewing To Release 3 New Beers on Saturday
Two Roads Brewing Company out in Stratford, CT have recently announced that they will soon be distributed in Massachusetts as soon as April 28th. Now they’ve also announced three new beers which are slated to be released exclusively at the brewery, on Saturday, starting at noon.
The first of the three beers is ‘Urban Funk Wild Ale’, which will be the first of a new series known as the ‘Captured Yeast Series‘ and it will ring at 5.6% A.B.V. The yeast used in this beer was collected as superstorm Sandy battered the East Coast and was isolated by two Sacred Heart biology professors Kirk Bartholomew and Geff Stopper. The beer will be corked in 375ml bottles and is apparently quite funky.
Their second beer is ‘Krazy Pucker‘ and is a traditional Berliner Weissbier which means a low A.B.V. and which features a refreshing tartness. This one will come in a 3.6% A.B.V. and will be bottled in 500ml bottles.
Last but not least will be their ‘Henry’s Farm Double Bock Lager‘ which has been aged in rye whiskey barrels. At 7.8% A.B.V., this one will be sold in 22oz bottles and apparently features “rich, bready malt character with a smooth whiskey finish from barrel aging.”
Interested in these beers? There will be 690 bottles of each beer available at the brewery and each style will come with a two bottle per customer limit for a maximum of six bottles total. Each bottle will be sold for $10 and they will also be available on draft until they run out.
The brewery is located at 1700 Stratford Ave, Stratford, CT 06615.
