Boston’s popular Trillium Brewing are busy expanding out in Canton and also announced that they’ll be turning two years old this upcoming weekend. And what better way to celebrate a big day then by release some beers and also having special events at both Row 34 and The Publick House.
The beer being released will be known as UPPER CASE and will be a double IPA which is described as having “a delicate, dry pilsner malt character with a smooth, soft, doughy mouthfeel from the raw wheat, oily hop resin which all serves as a canvas for this twice dry hopped 9% double IPA” and it will be released at the brewery on Saturday March 21st. There will be a limit of four, 750ml bottles or a 64oz growler per person. Three batches of it were brewed so don’t expect it to run out on the first day. Additionally, a limited amount of it will also be released via bottles to their retail distribution as well as on draft to certain accounts.
Sunday will feature the event at Row 34 simply known as the Trillium Social, starting at 2PM. The entire Trillium staff will be on hand, hanging out and sharing pints and laughs with everyone who makes it. Row 34’s beer manager, Megan Parker-Gray., has yet to announce the tap list but expect it to be top notch as always and Chef Francisco Millan will also be providing various snacks and raw bar items as well.
Then Monday evening will be Trillium’s 2nd Anniversary Party at the Publick House out in Brookline, starting at 5PM. Tickets will also be going on sale today, at noon. Those tickets will enable up to 50 people to get into the Publick House earlier than 5PM which will enable them to secure tables as well as get first picks on the draft lines. The tickets will be $50 a pop (excluding processing fees) and there’s no word yet on what will be on draft for the event as of now but much like Row 34, don’t expect to be disappointed.
More information will be released on Trillium’s Twitter account over the next few days with more details so stay tuned for updates on there.
