Dorchester Brewing Company Opening Thursday

Dorchester Brewing CompanyLate last year we had mentioned that a new brewery was in the works out in Dorchester and it appears to be slated for its grand opening to the public on Thursday, following a private ribbon cutting ceremony tomorrow.

Located right in Dorchester, the 25,000 square foot facility will feature a contract brewery as well as a taproom and both a canning and a bottling line. After two years of hard work and over six months of construction, Matt and his team are now ready to host everyone later this week in this georgeous facility. We had the pleasure of checking out the place about 8 months ago and couldn’t believe the size of the project.

“We are speechless over the countless people who have taken time out of their daily lives to lend a helping hand, voice their support, show up when we asked and overall, just provide continued encouragement over our project,” the company said in a statement. “The pride in the community really stands for itself and at DBco, we promise to give back to the community and continue to celebrate where we live.”

Per the big announcement on the website, the public will be able to check out the taproom starting on Thursday July 21st from 11:30AM to 11PM. They will also be open on Friday and Saturday from 11:30am to 11pm and Sunday from 11:30am to 9pm.

Dorchester Brewing Company is located at 1246 Massachusetts Ave, Boston, MA 02125.
