Percival Brewing Company Opens Taproom in Norwood
The town of Norwood, home to Castle Island Brewing, now welcomes a new brewery as Percival Brewing Company opens up to the public, for the very first time, later today at 4PM.
The brewery which was founded in Dorchester in 2011, had previously contract brewed locally before finding a home on Morse Street in Norwood. Their flagship amber ale known as ‘Dot Ale 1630’ has previously been floating around in the Boston area for a few years and they will be now working on introducing a variety of different beers to the public.
And while this is very much a soft launch, with limited hours this week, many more good things are to be expected in the next few weeks and months from these guys. When they open later their taproom later today, they’ll have four different beers available to the public:
Dot Ale – Dorchester’s Brew – 4.7% ABV – Pale Ale
Hazy Shade of Winter – 6% ABV NE IPA
Bobby Ferguson – 5% ABV – Oatmeal Stout
Agent Orange IPA – 7% ABV – IPA
Their hours this week are as follows: Thursday and Friday 4PM to 10PM. Saturday 2PM to 10PM and Sunday 2PM to 8PM.
We’ve repeatedly reached out to the brewery to get additional information and will update once we have more available to share.
Percival Brewing Company is located at 83 Morse St, Norwood, MA 02062.
