Backlash Opens Up Retail Space, Brewery Buildout To Follow
Backlash Beer Co., which has been around since 2013 and more recently has been contract-brewing out of Dorchester Brewing Company has now opened up a retail space where their beers will be going on sale. This comes nearly a year after their GoFundMe campaign got crowdfunded online and appears to be the beginning of what will eventually become a fully built out brewery with a taproom.
The brewery had not always been in the Boston area and had previously been brewing out in Holyoke but they’re now here to stay at their location over at 152 Hampden Street in Boston. And while the retail space is relatively limited right now they will be open today from 12 to 6PM selling cans of Hostile Takeover and Central Square, the third IPA in their Stomping Ground series.
No word yet on if these retail hours will happen past this weekend as they’re presently building out the brewery. Tanks are scheduled to arrive shortly before Thanksgiving and but we’ll keep you posted should they happen. Either way, these guys should be up and running in early 2018 in their new Roxbury home.
Backlash Beer Company’s retail space is located at 152 Hampden St, Roxbury, MA 02119.
