Everett-based Down the Road Brewing will finally be opening up their brand new taproom this upcoming Friday after months of work. This is years in the making and a lot of their beers have been available in and around Boston for a quite a while now, including their flagship pale ale known as ‘Pukwudgie‘ which has been around since March of 2015.
The 12,000 square foot place will have a sizable, 2,500 square foot taproom with an equally sizable brewhouse of 30-bbl which leaves them with additional room to expand into. And much like their neighbors from Bone Up and Night Shift, they will also have plenty of snacks available as well as a robust list of food trucks that will be coming and going.
No crowlers or growlers will be available but they will have 4-packs of cans available. Their tap list for their grand opening features the following beers:
Golden City New England IPA
Spring Heel Jack London Porter
Seventh Star IPA
Dreamtime New England IPA
Peach Feyborn Berliner Weisse
Wolfgeist Dunkel Lager
Hooligan Nut Brown Ale
The brewery’s grand opening will be happening Friday at 5:30PM and both Penny Packers and Roadies Diner will be the food trucks for the event. You can find out more about the event on their Facebook event page by clicking here.
After the opening shenanigans are over, their regular hours will be Tuesday to Saturday, 11 am to 11 pm and Sunday 11 am to 6 pm. They will be closed on Mondays.
Down the Road Brewing is located at 199 Ashland St, Everett, MA 02149.
